Good to see everyone

It was great to see so many of you at Parent Teacher Conferences last week.  Thank you so much for taking your precious time to come and visit with me.

I have a ton of pictures to upload to the blog, however, I can't find my cord.  As soon as I find it I will get the pictures on here.  I want to show everyone the pumpkins the students did.  They turned out amazing.  Thank you Mrs. Thornton for letting us do them.

This week we will be having the booktalks on Wednesday, we will then watch the Halloween parade so anyone with siblings in the younger grades will get to watch, and then finally we will have our party.    The party will start around 1:00ish or whenever the parade is over.

If your student is in my reading/math class we will not have a spelling list this week, because we are doing a poetry unit instead of a story.

We are going to be doing two projects/presentations starting this next week.  There will be one in social studies on an ancient Native American culture, and also a science project on a biome.  The groups have already been set and we will go over what they will need to have for their projects on Monday.  I will post rubrics to the homework page next week.

Once again, thank you so much for coming to Parent Teacher Conferences last week, and if there are any questions please let me know.
